Weigh-In 02/12/13

I swear, my body refuses to let go of the 170's. And boy is it slow going this year. I need to switch some exercise up or something, I guess. Onward & downward!


  1. I got stuck at a little plateau every 10 lbs on the way down; sometimes it took a week or two to break. Let me beat my dead horse just one more time: weight is 80% diet, 20% exercise...just keep an eagle eye on your food...drink your water...err on the side of protein...you got this! :)

  2. Haven't hit the plateau yet--so no advice personally. Have heard that increasing strength training intensity may help break it.

    But rae I'd love to be at whatevers comparable to 170.

  3. I feel like I've been stuck too. Definitely following the guidelines that Norma mentioned above. You'll get there.

I've been yoyo-ing above 165 for too many months...last week was a tough one emotionally and physically - death of a pet, and a migraine that lasted about four days...I DID NOT work out for eight days...but my nutrition was squeaky clean and quite a lot less than I usually eat...the result - a 4lb loss...that 80/20 ratio is so true.
