Weigh-In 8/06/2012

Previous:              193.4
Today:                  192.0
Loss:                       -1.4

It feels good to be going in the right direction again. I'm not a fan of slacking a few days and seeing my whole week's worth of effort slip away.

I have to get my physical completed soon, blech. For the first time ever, my company requires you meet 3/5 biometrics before you can get a discount on health insurance. I believe it is blood pressure < 130/85 , HDL > 50, triglycerides < 150, 35" waist or lower (for women), and fasting glucose < 100.

The really sad part is, I didn't get them checked before I started the weight loss. I regret that. In fact, I've never had my HDL or triglycerides checked. It will be interesting. Now if I can just get the appointment made, lol.

On a huge interesting side point, my waist is 35" exactly. When I started this weight loss journey, it was 55". That boggles my mind.

  1. Nice loss!! I didn't do any measurments at the start of my weight loss, and I really regret that too. I probably couldn't get a standard tape measure around me!

  2. Good job Rae Rae! One thing I love about you is that you never give up. You may have a bad day here or there, but you just pick up where you left off and keep going. That shows how successful you are going to be in the long run. You have the sheer PERSISTENCE to get to your goal and stay there. I am very, very proud of you!! xoxo

  3. I also have metrics to meet this year. Loose 1 BMI point or remain normal OR have a waist < 35 for a discount.

Maybe your doctor has measurements?? Congrats on your changes this year. That's awesome. I was not to my goal weight last year , so as long as I maintain , I'll get my discount.

    1. In my epic stupidity at one point, I deleted them, :( I had the exact measurements starting out when I was 340. During the year something happend and I went a little crazy, and I deleted everything. When I started this blog and started back at getting to a normal weight, I couldn't find the old measurements. But I remember my waist because it was such a huge shock. I want to say my hips were 65", arms were like 17.5". I'm going to have to measure tonight.
