How Does the Government See Me?

NORMAL!

  1. Hi Rae! Sometimes being normal is so fantastic. You earned it by the thousands of little good decisions you made for yourself for a long time now.

My own BMI is 25.5 right now, and I'm super thrilled even though I think that's still considered on the line of being "overweight." Whatevs! It's nothing like the old version of "obese" I used to throw around! :D

  2. CONGRATS!!! How does it feel to be "normal"?

I can't wait for this moment! I'm much shorter than you so it'll happen to me when I hit 145. :( *sobs*

  4. Well, the gov't is monitoring our emails so it's quite possible they're monitoring your weight loss! ;)

  5. Congratulations! It's funny how regardless of how we look or our clothes fit, the "numbers" still play such a huge emotional role.

  7. Hey - check out this BMI calculator from the Australian National Heart Foundation. There's a drawing of a person which gains/loses weight as you move the slidely thing back and forth. (And yes, I am easily amused.)
