Hi Rae! Sometimes being normal is so fantastic. You earned it by the thousands of little good decisions you made for yourself for a long time now.
My own BMI is 25.5 right now, and I'm super thrilled even though I think that's still considered on the line of being "overweight." Whatevs! It's nothing like the old version of "obese" I used to throw around! :D
Hey - check out this BMI calculator from the Australian National Heart Foundation. There's a drawing of a person which gains/loses weight as you move the slidely thing back and forth. (And yes, I am easily amused.)

ReplyDeleteI can't wait for this moment! I'm much shorter than you so it'll happen to me when I hit 145. :( *sobs*
Woohoo! I just found your blog (hi!) and this is awesome!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, the gov't is monitoring our emails so it's quite possible they're monitoring your weight loss! ;)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It's funny how regardless of how we look or our clothes fit, the "numbers" still play such a huge emotional role.
ReplyDeleteCongrats woman!! You have accomplished amazing things! Proud of you!!
