Revelation that most of you knew.

Yeah, I'm slow sometimes.

It seems that a week of overeating not only lead to a weight gain, but it also lead to something more heinous: hunger.

I'm flat hungry this week. And that's so very bad  because since I've been eating 1200 calories every single day for at least 14 weeks, I managed to acclimate myself. I wasn't getting hungry, or hunger pains, or thinking about binging.

Now, I'm back to square one again and hungry.

No wonder diets fail.

I've been good, no straying from the 1200 per day, but it's once again rough.

  1. It sucks ass, no doubt. Awesome job sticking it out. It gets better - we both know...
    Love to you!

  2. Good luck! I'm a volume eater so sometimes I have to eat a lot of low-cal, high volume food like vegetables to feel satiated.

I've been feeling extra hungry lately too due to bad sleeping habits and increased exercise. One bad day is not going to derail everything! You are doing great.

  3. I can relate. You have to get the carbs out of your system again. It won't take long but it's no fun. Drink lots of water and keep yourself occupied. Blog a little extra and leave comments for people who are struggling so you won't feel like you are fighting the battle alone. You are just going to have to go on automatic pilot for a time. Take care.

  4. I've noticed that anytime I eat (and overeat)less than healthy stuff, my tastebuds start to crave the processed junky food again. But, I know when I return to eating the healthy stuff again, my tastebuds return to normal, craving salad and vegetables and such; I just need to get through the uncomfortable adjustment period.

    You'll get through it!

  5. Getting back on track after a few days off always seems hard - but you know what to do to get back into the swing of things. Good luck :)

  6. This is so true. It always takes me about 10 days to gain momentum and stop obsessing over what I'm "missing out on".

You can so do this. You were losing almost 3 pounds most weeks right before your holiday. A fortnight back on 1200 calories and you're right back on track. x

  7. Very, very true. Once I give myself the freedom to eat whatever I want, then it so hard getting back to healthy eating. I've been off track for a week or more. Just got in a good hour of exercise this morning and feeling much better about it all. :)
