Weigh-In 5/29/2012

Previous:              207.0
Today:                   205.4
Loss:                        -1.6
 
Yesterday I was out of town due to the holiday, so there was no weigh-in.
 
Like I said before, my green coffee extract came in last week! I started Saturday morning taking one before breakfast and one before dinner. My weigh-in Saturday was 205.9.
 
Two weeks to track, I'll keep you all updated. (My plan is changing nothing at all except adding the supplements.)

Boo. And that's all I have to say about that.
 
Funny story though - still haven't received my green coffee extract. When I remembered last week that I hadn't, I called the company. Voicemail is full. I started to worry that I had been scammed by this particular company. I wait another day or so, call again. I then get a voicemail that says basically this:

"We appreciate your call and we apologize we aren't able to answer them. However, due to the Dr. Oz show we have had a massive influx of orders for green coffee extract. Please know that all orders that were placed on April 26th (the day of the show) have all been sent out as of this weekend. We are working on the 27th and 28th and hope to have those orders out by the next weekend."

Ha - I ordered mine on April 30th. Sigh. So, still waiting! Crazy power of the media, huh?

Weigh-In 5/15/2012

My weigh-in is a day late, the little boy was sick yesterday, and I had all but forgotten to weigh in until it was afternoon. And no way was I stepping on the scales then! ;)
 
I am surprised I lost this week. Not that my eating was off, but it was the TOM week and although I've found hormones don't effect my weight too much, it VERY much does effect my want to exercise. It is practically non-existent during that week, lol. Even though I'd probably feel better if I did, I still can't bring myself to do anything but grab the heating pad and veg out on the couch.
 
Friday we are going to a little shin-dig in Lexington, KY called the Taste of the Bluegrass. It's a great fundraiser for God's Food Pantry. You buy a ticket, they give you all the booze and food you can eat. You can imagine how excited I am. *insert sarcastic eye roll*

Green Onions

Although this diet is making me come out of my shell bit by bit, I am not a gardener. I used to (and still do some) loathe the idea of the hard work in the garden. I do have to admit the idea is gaining ground with me, though, and I may just start one next year.

But I digress! A friend of mine posted this on Facebook today, and I thought it was the neatest thing, so I wanted to pass it along. (I'm hoping it's not one of those common knowledge things that you just kinda shake your head at me and laugh..)

I abosolutely adore green onions. I eat them with just about every sandwich. But the grocery at the end of the road never has them, so I always have to travel to the farther away grocery to get them, usually on my big grocery shopping day. I'm thinking about keeping these dandies at my work desk.

If I want to be @ 199 by vacation, I have 4 weeks and 5 days to lose 9.3 pounds. It's around 2 pounds a week, I just need to kick it up a notch. (Yes, I will accept 199.9 as meeting the 100's goal, haha.)
 
I still haven't received my green coffee extract. :( That's what I get for taking the free shipping.
